Centre Stage Dance and Drama has been established for over 20 years, and is a thriving and well-respected vocational school providing Dance and Drama classes in Cobham, Oxshott and Leatherhead in Surrey.


Director and Founder, Suki Turner, brings a lifetime's experience to the School. In addition to her professional skill as a choreographer in Films, the West End and touring and regional Musicals, Suki has international and West End dance and acting credits. Suki holds a Licentiate Diploma from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance(LISTD Dip,); She is a Licentiate of the International Dance Teachers Association (LIDTA), and is a Registered Teacher and an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD). Suki has also produced a series of CDs of tap dance music which have sold worldwide, under her Label "Dancemusic". The Centre Stage Dance and Drama philosophy is to discover, nurture and develop its pupils' creative talents, both boys and girls, through dedicated teaching in an atmosphere of fun and wholesome discipline. All associate teachers are professionals in their fields; CRB/DBS checked and qualified to supervise, teach, choreograph and coach children and pupils of all ages.


Childrens' classes [ages 2½ to 18] in Drama, LAMDA Speech & Drama, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Street Jazz, Gymnastics and Competition Dance classes on weekday afternoons and weekends in term-time. Adult Ballet and Tap on weekdays.


There are many opportunities for pupils to gain confidence in performing - from small-scale presentations, drama workshops and performances, charity dance events, seasonal performances, an annual musical-theatre course, holiday theatre workshops and a major theatrical show every 2-3 years.


Pupils are encouraged to enter for appropriate exams if they wish - and the school's results are consistently high.
