georgeDance Gymnastics & Musical Theatre

George is currently a student at the Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford, where he is studying Musical Theatre. George has been dancing from the age of 6 at a local stage school and after turning 10 joined the Guildford School of Acting Saturday school where he worked through the grades in tap, ballet and jazz dance. He started gymnastics training when he was 6, at the Basingstoke Gymnastics Centre (now the Active Life Centre) where he achieved success in the under 12s Basingstoke Trampolineing Squad, before he had to quit training – because he was cast in The Sound of Music in the London Palladium (as Freidrich Von Trapp) for a 6 month season. George has been involved with both amateur and professional productions since he was a child, and for the last two years has appeared as a professional dancer in pantomimes in Redhill and Guildford, where he involved his gymnastic skills in both productions.   Whilst training George still attends weekly gym classes at Tolworth Gymnastic Club and is the cheerleading stunt captain in his College’s current production of “Bring It On – the Musical”. He’s thrilled to be at Centre Stage, teaching a sport that he has a great passion for, and he is fully confident it will build strength and flexibility for any young dancer.
