The School’s philosophy is to discover, nurture and develop its pupils’ creative talents, both boys and girls, through dedicated teaching in an atmosphere of fun and supportive discipline.

 WHERE WE ARE

Our thriving school has been established for nearly 15 years! We started with facilities in Barnes, London SW13, and now we are expanding Centre Stage Dance and Drama in Oxshott, Surrey KT22 IN THE Oxshott Village Centre and St Andrew’s Church Hall.

 WHO WE ARE

Suki Turner the Director is a qualified professional dance & drama teacher and choreographer.  She is a Licentiate Diploma of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance. She also has International and West End performing credits to her name.   Our associate teachers, Sally Rayner, Donna McCabe, Graham Pountney,  are all professionals in their fields, qualified to teach, supervise, choreograph or coach children of all ages.

 WHAT WE DO

• We run Dance classes for children from 3 years to 18 years in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Street Jazz, and
• Adult Tap dance classes too – and
• Drama classes for children from 5 years to 18 years, as well as
• LAMDA acting classes.

There is no membership fee – but classes are invoiced on a termly basis in advance.

 Performing in  presentations, charity events, seasonal shows, an annual Musical Theatre workshop and a major public show every 2-3 years,  provides many opportunities for pupils to gain poise and confidence.

 Pupils are encouraged to enter for any appropriate exams if they wish, and the school’s results are consistently very high.

Centre Stage welcomes beginners and more experienced pupils to its classes, and exists to help them achieve their creative potential.
