CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to all those who have recently taken their RAD Ballet Exams. They all achieved Merit or Distinction.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY EXAM DATES - OXSHOTT Modern and Tap Exams will take place on Sunday 22nd and Sunday 29th June at Brownie Hut, Waverly Road. Ballet Exams will take place on Friday 4th July at Oxshott Village Centre. Summer Term 2008 Starts Monday 14th April. Half Term Monday 26th May – Saturday 31st May. End of Term Saturday 5th July. THEATRE WORKSHOP WEEK Summer Half Term 26th to 30th May 5 day Musical Theatre Workshop presents The MUSICAL What’s it all about? Well … A red-haired mop-top orphan (Annie) is yearning to break out of her dreary life in an orphanage, run by an iron-fisted, boozy matron. Annie charms billionaire Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks into inviting her to his mansion for Christmas – but all she really wants is her Mummy and Daddy: All some other characters want, is a way into Warbucks’ wallet! A fabulous show with great tunes – for young and old alike. Based on the comic strip “Little Orphan Annie” the production grew to be a favourite Broadway and West End show in the late 1970s. The movie version came out in 1982 and Annie has won many major awards. This Annie is a special ‘Junior’ version, tailored to the needs of young people. Anniejr condenses the spirit and essence of the Broadway show into a vibrant and manageable, child-friendly, knock-out, powerhouse of a musical. We’ll have a load of fun entertaining you!
